Gerald began his journey in electrical work in 1991, initially viewing it as just a job. After a life-altering setback and a two-year hiatus, Gerald was inspired by his grandmother to turn his life around. He earned his journeyman’s license in 2004, followed by his first master electrician license in 2008, marking the start of a successful and resilient career.
Born to a sharecropper in 1973 on the banks of the Mississippi River, Gerald’s path has been shaped by perseverance and growth. Today, he holds master electrician licenses in multiple states and brings over three decades of experience to his role at ForgeNow.
As an instructor, Gerald is dedicated to sharing his knowledge and story with the next generation of electricians. His journey from adversity to mastery serves as a powerful example of dedication, and he now plays a key role in shaping future professionals at ForgeNow.

William N
Expertise:

William began his electrical career in 2005, entering a four-year apprenticeship where he gained hands-on experience wiring schools, hospitals, homes, and colleges. After graduating from the Apprenticeship Council for Electrical Finishing (ACEF) in 2009, he passed the journeyman’s exam and became a licensed electrician.
Eager to expand his expertise, William pursued two additional years of training in motor controls, equipping him to work on industrial systems in agricultural and water facilities. In 2013, he earned his master electrician license and founded his own company, Nickleson Electric, which he successfully operated for over a decade.
With nearly 20 years of experience, William brings deep industry knowledge and a strong entrepreneurial background to his current role, where he continues to contribute to the field through mentorship and training of future electricians.

Patrick is a dedicated HVAC professional and respected educator who began his journey as a ForgeNow student and has now returned as an instructor. With five years of hands-on field experience and three years teaching, Patrick is known for his technical expertise and strong mentorship.
Passionate about the craft and committed to service, he brings real-world knowledge and industry best practices into the classroom, inspiring students with the same determination that fueled his own success. As a ForgeNow alumnus, Patrick offers a unique perspective and deep dedication to student achievement.
Now a key member of ForgeNow’s instructional team, Patrick prepares students for certification and lifelong careers through an engaging teaching style focused on personal growth, professionalism, and problem-solving. He is not just teaching HVAC—he’s helping redefine the trade.

Mark began his HVAC career in 2003, joining a small AC company right out of high school. Starting on install crews running ductwork, he quickly proved his dedication and drive to grow in the field. Over time, he transitioned into service work and continued advancing his skills.
Mark’s career eventually led him into the commercial sector, where he earned the role of Lead Service Technician. Along the way, he discovered a passion for mentoring and found satisfaction working with others who shared his enthusiasm for HVAC. Guided by values of hard work and dedication, Mark built a successful and respected career.
Today, Mark brings over two decades of industry experience to his role as an instructor at ForgeNow. He is committed to educating and inspiring the next generation of HVAC professionals, helping them build the same strong foundation that supported his own success.

Ricky D
Expertise:
HVAC Systems
Ricky is a seasoned School Director and HVAC professional with over nine years of experience in trade education. He has played a key role in developing and launching programs in Welding, HVAC, Construction, and Electronic Systems at institutions such as Careers Institute of America and Graduate America College in Garland, TX.
With more than a decade of hands-on HVAC experience, Ricky has taught in both classroom and field settings. He is a certified HVAC Contractor, NCCER Electronic Systems Technician Instructor, and Core Curricula Instructor. He also brings strong expertise in networking as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), with over five years of teaching experience in fiber optics and system installations at institutions like Collin Community College and the American Technical Institute.
Ricky has contributed to curriculum development at Vista College’s corporate office in Dallas, writing content for programs in HVAC, Welding, Construction, and more. He holds a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and English from Punjab University, as well as certifications in A+ (COM/TIA), MCSE, and HVAC systems.
Now at ForgeNow, Ricky leads the HVAC Maintenance program, bringing a wealth of technical knowledge, instructional experience, and a passion for student success to the classroom.

Brian began his working life at age 15 in the restaurant industry, eventually moving into factory work in search of better pay. However, it wasn’t until his mid-20s that he found his true calling in residential construction, introduced by a friend who was a subcontractor.
At 32, Brian began training as a plumber’s apprentice, spending 18 months learning the trade hands-on. His strong performance earned him a company van and independent service responsibilities—an acknowledgment of both his skill and reliability. As his expertise grew, so did his income, surpassing his initial expectations.
Now in his early 50s, Brian serves as an instructor at ForgeNow, where he shares decades of real-world experience. His journey from entry-level jobs to skilled trades and education reflects a deep commitment to growth, craftsmanship, and mentoring the next generation of plumbing professionals.

Jimmy T

Jimmy is a recent ForgeNow graduate from late 2023 who has since served as an HVAC lab technician for approximately one year. In this role, Jimmy provides valuable support and shares his expertise with new HVAC technician students, fostering a collaborative and hands-on learning environment in the lab.
Jimmy takes great pride in seeing aspiring technicians apply the knowledge and skills he imparts throughout their training, finding fulfillment in contributing to their professional growth and success.
